What is home staging?

Home staging involves sprucing up a property for photos and viewings. To this end, the property is furnished to make it look homely. Professional estate agents use this marketing tool to obtain good photos for property websites and the property profile, as well as for viewings.

Virtual home staging

Whereas ‘analogue’ home staging involves physically furnishing a property, virtual home staging allows this process to be carried out via a PC. The first step is to take photos of the empty and clean property. Virtual furniture and other forms of décor are then added to these photos.

A professional estate agent knows what it takes to show off a property from its best side without giving a false impression. They will also take care of the virtual furnishings.

More opportunities – fewer costs and less time

In the ‘virtual world’, there are practically no limits on how to decorate a property’s interior. Different styles, furnishings and colours can be selected as desired and quickly swapped out. The walls can be given virtually any colour, though light and pleasing shades are generally recommended. Floors can be adorned with parquet, carpet or tiles, for example. The style of the interior can be selected in line with the desired target audience for the property, such as modern, classic or rustic. Virtual home staging allows you to demonstrate the inherent possibilities of your property.
