2006 – A pioneering project

After several years as consultants, Arnaud Schott and David Nguyen-Viet decide to embark on a new career path and move to Berlin. A few months later, the idea of their joint project takes shape: find a run-down building, renovate it and turn it into an aparthotel. But they soon realize how complex the German real estate market is for a Frenchman to understand. Legal, cultural and linguistic differences present major hurdles.

2008 – Foundation of ADEN Immobilien

The duo decided to found ADEN Immobilien in 2008. Their goal is clear: to support French-speaking clients with their real estate projects in Berlin. At that time, no agency offered special services for this community. They create a bridge between two cultures so that French people can invest or settle in Berlin in a relaxed manner. David Nguyen-Viet opens the Paris branch, Arnaud Schott works in Berlin.

2010 – First Berlin agency and team reinforcement

ADEN Immobilien opens its first agency on Mehringdamm in the heart of Berlin. This year, Janine Jones and Lars Drewes join the founding team as German partners. The team grows with the common goal of offering a personalized service to French-speaking buyers, tenants and investors.

2011 – Expansion and first major projects

The following year sees expansion: a second agency is opened in Grünberger Strasse in Friedrichshain. At the same time, ADEN Immobilien launches its first projects for dividing buildings and reselling apartments for investors and private individuals.

2016 – Stronger presence in the west of Berlin

2016 marks an important step: the opening of the agency on Giesebrechtstrasse and new offices on Adenauerplatz. This presence in the west of Berlin enables ADEN Immobilien to cover a broader market segment and better serve its growing customer base.

2020 – A firmly established team in Berlin

Over the years, the ADEN Immobilien team has grown steadily. In 2020, the agency is considered one of the best in Berlin, especially among francophone expats. With its human, multilingual and expert approach, ADEN Immobilien has established itself as a trusted player in the Berlin real estate market.

Today – The agency for all Berliners

Today, ADEN Immobilien is much more than an agency for French people: it is an agency for all Berliners. The team speaks six languages and reflects the diversity of the German capital. ADEN Immobilien – that’s 25 employees, 150 apartments sold in 2024 and 72 buildings sold since the agency was founded.
